My twins are about to be TEN, (I can’t believe we are hitting double digits!). Both twins share a room with their younger siblings (boys in one room, girls in the other). My girls have been asking for a few months now to re-do their room. Most of it is pretty new, I mean we have only been in our house for almost 2 years. I guess this is something they inherited from me. I remember as a little girl I would flip thru the JC Penny Catalogs and pick out a new bedroom set every Christmas. They are both the same way; they don’t care too much for toys & love to go antiquing.
I’ve started gathering some ideas, with their input and thought this would be a great place to share. The oldest asked if this could be her Christmas present, ha!
Bunk beds. This is one thing they have asked for over and over. My boys just got bunk beds a few months ago, And I honestly don’t mind them. They have done pretty good keeping the beds made and they have way more space to scatter Legos all over the floor.
My six-year-old exact words were” YES! We would LOVE to have that bed!”
The walls are painted Livable Green- by Sherwin Williams and I am defiantly not repainting it right now, so finding bedding that we all agree on that doesn’t clash may be difficult. I would love to add some wallpaper.
I’m not sure we will end up with bunk beds, but I think we have agreed on a style/color scheme. At least for this week, HA!
