We have been neglecting our back porch since we moved in. I am so thankful that we were able to move in before the holidays but moving into a house at the beginning of winter aka wet and rainy season is no fun. We did our best to plant grass on top of the red clay that was left all around our house from the slab being poured. We have a pretty big yard so there was no way we could actually cover the entire area and every bit of the clay. Needless to say, the back porch has taken a beating with 2 inside dogs, two outside dogs, and 4 kids,. I have probably mopped and scrubbed our floors twice a day… everyday since we moved in.
Well with the weather warming up ,and spring right around the corner, it is finally time to do some spring cleaning. I have actually already pressure washed our porches about 6 weeks ago but of course if already needs to be done again. So I scrubbed the porches and now it’s time for my favorite thing, decorating. But first I need to do a little shopping. I’m hoping to find most of my stuff at antique shops but I do have my eye on a few basics that I found online, and I wanted to share a few of my favorite finds.
I just love the style of this outdoor furniture. One of the great things about it is that it can be used with or without cushions, but this set actually comes with the cushions! I always have the hardest time finding cushions that fit the right way on the chairs I have around our fire pit.
Below are a few pictures of my favorite finds. You can always shop my favorites on my Liketoknow.it.
